Deer King Jataka Pedestal Incense Holder — Gift Set

A story-led ceramic vessel for stick incense, incense cones and tealights.

Inspired by the narrative rhythm and mineral colours of Dunhuang mural art, this pedestal incense vessel carries a continuous scene from the Deer King Jataka. Deer, riders, figures, mountains and a travelling carriage unfold across its warm, softly speckled ceramic surface.

Place the included removable nine-hole gold-tone base inside the vessel to hold stick incense. Remove the base to use the vessel with a compatible incense cone or a small tealight, allowing it to shift naturally between daily scent rituals and ambient candlelight.

Presented in an illustrated gift box, it is designed as both a functional ritual object and a decorative piece from our Fall 2026 Dunhuang Aesthetics collection.

Care & safety

Use only on a stable, level and heat-resistant surface in a well-ventilated area. Never leave burning incense or candles unattended. Keep away from children, pets, drafts and flammable materials. Allow the vessel and metal base to cool completely before handling or cleaning. Remove cooled ash with a soft dry brush or cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, prolonged soaking and sudden temperature changes.
